If you’ve been following me for the past year on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me feature my multiple pairs of Margaux shoes.

I purchased my first pair of Pointe flats from the brand last spring at their DC pop-up store and immediately fell in love. I then snagged a pair of Mules and Demi flats because I just found the styles so timeless and the design so comfortable. When Margaux put out a call looking for brand ambassadors this summer, I jumped at the opportunity to partner with a female-owned small business that I already knew and loved!

I’m all for supporting small businesses, especially female-owned ones, which is what drew me to Margaux in the first place. However, it was after wearing my first pair of Margaux shoes that I was completely sold on the brand. Today I’ll highlight my personal favorite style that has become my closet staple I wear nearly every day: The Demi.

I’m someone who has finicky feet – I get blisters easily and have ankles that always seem to get cut and bruised when I’m breaking in a new pair of shoes. It can honestly be a really long and uncomfortable process to find everyday shoes that I am truly comfortable in.

When I bought my first pair of Demi flats – the suede style in olive green – I was so happy! The material is so soft it molds to your feet immediately while still maintaining the structure and support to let you walk in these flats all day long. The Demi style comes in a variety of neutral and bold colors to fit into every wardrobe and is available in both suede and leather options.

I actually loved my olive suede Demis so much that when Margaux announced the black suede version for fall 2020, I knew I had to have them in my closet! When I find an incredible pair of shoes (or any other closet staple), I truly believe it’s worth getting them in a few colors. After all, since we’re on our feet so much it’s worth investing in a great pair of shoes that are both chic AND supportive.

On top of comfort, the Demi is such a classic, elegant shoe. The ballet style with a delicate bow is a truly timeless look and I love that I can pair them with anything – jeans, dresses, leggings – and that they work for both casual and dressier events. I love a shoe that’s versatile, comfortable, and incredibly chic – my Margaux Demi flats check every box!
