My favorite affordable red wines (that are still delicious)

Hello all!

With the holiday season and colder weather upon us, it’s time to break out the red wine! Whether you’re giving it as a gift, enjoying it with family during a holiday gathering, or sharing with friends during a Friendsgiving or Homecoming party, I wanted to share my favorite affordable finds for any occasion.

Full disclosure: I only started liking red wines very recently. They were typically too strong for me, but I’ve grown to like a few over time. I now gravitate towards the fruitier, full-bodied reds and try to stay away from the drier types. However, I’m still incredibly picky about my reds and therefore will definitely steer clear of terrible cheap ones! That’s why I’m excited to share my favorite affordable red wine finds with you – they often have a reputation for being more expensive (at least if you want a good one), but I’ve found some great options without resorting to breaking the bank!

Without further ado, here are my top picks to share with you:

Under $10

Three Wishes Cabernet Sauvignon ($3) – Whole Foods

Phigment Red Blend ($6) – Trader Joe’s

Moon X Black Pinot Noir ($7) – Trade Joe’s

Apothic Red ($8) – Total Wine & More

David Marchesi Provare California Cabernet Sauvignon ($9.99) – NakedWines.com

Jen Pfeiffer The Rebel Shiraz 2019 ($9.99) – NakedWines.com

Tom Shula Sweet Red ($9.99) – NakedWines.com

Under $15

Karen Birmingham Lodi Zinfandel ($11) – NakedWines.com

Poppy Pinot Noir ($12) – Trader Joe’s

Arabella Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon ($12) – NakedWines.com

The Pinot Project Pinot Noir ($12) – Trader Joe’s

F. Stephen Millier Black Label California Cabernet Sauvignon ($13) – NakedWines.com

I hope these wines provide you with great options for any fĂȘte you attend this holiday season! Let me know if you have any more recommendations for your favorite affordable reds I should add to this list!

XOXO

Parisa
