This past Saturday I had the good fortune of going to the European Holiday Gala at the French Embassy! I managed to snag a ticket in early November and am so happy I did – they sold out a couple of weeks beforehand.

This holiday look is also great inspiration for any parties you might be attending over the next few weeks. After all, what’s more festive than a red dress and sparkly jewelry?

I actually bought this dress on Black Friday, but deliberately left it off my Black Friday post last week to save it for this event.

I got my hair done at Bubbles Salon in DC, because I’m positively terrible with updos but wanted to look festive. They’re a great, affordable option if you have an event and need to get your hair done.

The Holiday Gala encouraged attendees to donate a toy to a child for Toys for Tots, so I made sure to give an adorable squishy reindeer for someone to cuddle with on Christmas!
