Hello all!
I’m excited to share my 2019 Holiday Gift Guide with you! One of my main love languages is gift-giving and I pride myself on finding the *perfect* gift for my family and friends for birthdays and holidays. It doesn’t have to be huge or expensive, but when their faces light up I enjoy knowing that I hit the mark on that present and really made them feel loved!
I try to match gifts to personality types – the Homebody, the Traveler, the Bookworm, etc. – as well as price points with my “Stocking Stuffers Under $15” section. I prefer to section off my gifts by personality/interest and price point because I have personally enjoyed getting gifts that typically got put into the “for your mom” or “for your boyfriend” categories. I’ve also included both useful and fun gifts in each category so you can really have your pick depending on the person!
Gifts for the Homebody
Whether they’re a family member or your best friend, these gifts are the perfect way to treat your more introverted loved ones. I’ve gathered a mix of self-care focused presents and smaller items to brighten up their home.

Gifts for the Host or Chef
We all have the one friend or family member who just loves to host events! Why not give them something in return outside the typical “flowers and wine” gift? A cheeky oven mitt, set of cookbooks, or beautiful creamer are useful items, but I’ve *sprinkled* in some self care items like a candle collection and specialty tea set so they can spend some time treating themselves, too.
Fortnum and Mason Spode Green Italian Cream Jug ($40) // Taste of Little Italy Cook Book Set ($99) // Blue Q You Wanna Piece Oven Mitt ($13) // Tea Forte Warming Joy Presentation Box ($30) // H&M Textured Carafe ($18) // A Golden Christmas Coffee Table Set ($79) // Fortnum’s Christmas and Other Winter Feasts Cookbook – Exclusive Signed Copy ($35) // Voluspa 12 Days of Gifting Candle Set ($78)
Gifts for the Bookworm
I’ve included a few of my most recent reads from this year alongside New York Times bestsellers and some classic novels for the avid reader to immerse themselves in. However, the quirky presents of a large book-holding tote and Alice in Wonderland tea bag tidy are great accompaniment to days spent curled up with a good book.
Blue Q All Booked Up Bag ($13) // American Royals ($10) // Where the Crawdads Sing ($10) // Fortnum & Mason Halcyon Days Alice in Wonderland Tea Bag Tidy ($19) // Louis C. Tiffany Magnolia Bookmark ($17) // Talking to Strangers ($16) // Circe ($11) // 1967 “The Allegory of Love: A Study in Medieval Tradition” by C. S. Lewis ($99) // Tea Forte Large Gift Tin Tea Tasting Assortment ($28) // Evergreen Ceramic Mug ($20) // Murder Mystery Christmas Gift Set ($135)
Gifts for the Traveler and Experience – Seeker
Give your jet-setting friends and family some practical gifts such as a cheeky wallet, portable charger, or travel trio of perfume, as well as more whimsical travel-inspired gifts like this book devoted to the Grand Budapest Hotel. Cozy extras are perfect for long flights, and a mini self-care kit can be taken on the road or for recovery when they return! And for anyone who wants a fun seasonal experience without the hassle of leaving your town – I’d recommend a night out at Cirque du Soleil!
Anker PowerCore+ Mini, Lipstick-Sized Portable Charger ($20) // Fossil Logan Bifold Wallet with Leopard ($54) // Cirque du Soleil Tickets (see location nearest you) // Cashmere Ribbed Knit Scarf ($119) // Seven Days of Self-Care Advent Calendar ($38) // “Tailor Your Story Layering Scents” Roll-On Perfume Trio ($35) // Mer-Sea & Co. Stocking Stuffers Under $15
These more affordable gifts are great for filling up stockings, for distant family members, and for your office’s white elephant party. This group of affordable presents includes everything from mulling spices to skincare surprises, so you can get a little something for every type of person!
