Sedona Style

Hello all!

Now that I’ve posted my Sedona Travel Guide, I wanted to share with you all the outfits I wore during the trip. I always try to feel out the vibe of any location I’m traveling to and dress appropriately. Often, this shift in style is half subconscious and half intended – I dress for the place but also enjoy trying out new styles for a few days.

For Sedona, I packed a lot of denim, warm-toned clothes (rust, red, and yellow), my trusty graphic tees, and cute sneakers for lots of hiking. Cute workout apparel was also on my must-bring list when packing. The desert climate can be hot and dry during the day, but quite chilly at night, so it was important to always have layers available.

These were two of my “exploring” outfits. For walking around the base of Cathedral Rock Vortex on the first day in AZ, I stuck with a graphic tee, stretchy light-wash denim skirt, and Adidas kicks to keep my comfortable and stylish in the heat. For our trip to the Grand Canyon, I knew I needed warmer clothes so I stuck to black jeans, a black faded denim jacket, another graphic tee for a pop of color, and the same sneakers.

For my most casual outfits – lounging by the pool and hiking up the Boynton Canyon Vortex – I stuck to my basics of a solid color bikini with a floral cover up and a bright sports bra with leggings.

When I was going out to dinner or strolling through the creative village of Tlaquepaque, I wanted to stay comfy but add a bit of flair to my looks. I took inspiration from the Red Rock Canyons and donned some of my favorite rust-colored dresses for dinner. I dressed up some casual cuffed jeans with a silk camisole and pointed mules that were also comfortable to walk around in.

I hope you enjoyed this rundown of my favorite outfits from this trip and that it gives you some inspiration if you’re planning a southwestern excursion but don’t know what to wear!

XOXO
