Favorite Fall Black Boots

Hello all!

Now that the weather has finally started to cool down, I’m breaking out my favorite shoes of all time: the black boot.

These trusty styles got me through college – whether dressed up or down, they always pull a look together.  I normally gravitate towards edgier styles, so having an arsenal of boot options to choose from to suit my mood is so integral.

The New Options:

Nova Waterproof Bootie, Blondo

These versatile boots are my daily staples.  Not only are they extremely comfy, but they go well with both work-wear and casual weekend looks. I snagged a pair of Blondo boots similar to this one last year and have expanded my collection to include two other pairs, including this one.  The range of neutral colors each shoe style comes in ensures that they go with any wardrobe!

‘Felicia’ Wedge Bootie, Linea Paolo

These wedge boots/sneakers give me subtle height without being too obvious.  I’m also officially making these my travel shoes because the wedge is just sooo comfortable. I stuck to simple black suede, but love that they have over 10 different color and texture options to choose from if you don’t want basic black!

Warid Moto Bootie, Marc Fisher LTD (sold out, but similar styles here and here)

I’m a true sucker for a good combat boot.  My love of them began in middle school by lightly dabbling in goth culture and has stayed consistent since then.  This style of boot can be reworked so many different ways and always adds the perfect cool girl touch to any outfit. Even though these shoes came with contrasting white laces, I love the idea of buying up a bunch of colors and patterns to suit your style and season!  Some personal favorite shoelace alternatives are this (two color), this (rainbow pack), and this (Halloween laces).

The Worn Staples:

Martine, La Canadienne

I’ve had a variation of these staple boots for about 10 years and only needed to get them resoled once.  Although they are quite pricey and are an investment piece for sure, the quality and timeless style can’t be matched. These shoes carried me through every single fall season since I first purchased them. If you’re looking to invest in an incredible pair of boots, I always recommend this brand.  You simply can’t go wrong!

Rapha, Blondo

Another pair of my go-tos, these heeled booties are surprisingly comfortable despite the height (I’ve walked across both NYC and DC wearing them), have treads to avoid slipping, and are waterproof so you never need to worry about water damage! I got them last fall and have pulled them out for every girls night and nicer dinner to dress up my look without hurting my feet.  Bonus:they’re also great for dancing in!

I hope these recommendations help prepare you for the new season! Let me know if you have any go-to fall shoe staples in your wardrobe!

XOXO

Parisa
