Roaring 20’s Glam

Happy November!

In honor of my 28th birthday last month, I decided to fully embrace the roaring 20s as my Halloween costume! It also worked well as the theme for my joint birthday party with my friend and fellow Scorpio Meridith.

I absolutely love the glitz and glamour of this style (The Great Gatsby, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Downton Abbey, and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries are such great shows and movies set during this time for inspiration), so I figured since it’s still the 2020s and I’m in my 20s, why not combine them into a fun theme for Halloween?!

I absolutely love how iconic the 1920s flapper style is – fun headpieces, dramatic makeup, lots of sparkle and outfits that flow beautifully when you move in them. It’s truly a fashion lover’s dream! This style is also perfect for any upcoming parties and holiday festivities.

For this post, I am highlighting some cute outfits and accessories inspired by the decade – I hope you find something here that inspires you to throw your own Gatsby-themed party!
