Hello all!
Has anyone else started going back into the office again? My office recently started a part-time flex system of going in 1-2 days a week. I can choose to be in when there are very few people (or none a all) – the perks of working at a small firm!
While heading back into our offices may not be the best news for most of us to deal with going into the holidays (or dealing with cold weather when I’d rather be wearing a blanket while working from home), it does offer the opportunity to have a excuse to get dressed up!
Now, I’m not someone who really dresses up for work. I’m mainly in a research role, so I have a solid work uniform of mostly black, navy, and cream that I rotate through weekly. However, there are definitely a few wardrobe staples that I think can both elevate your work looks and still give you a level of comfort as though you were still working from home. My current go-to’s are simple but chic/cozy sweaters, stretchy pants, and cute flats to elevate the overall look. Current wardrobe hero are my spanx legging pants that I’ve included in my roundup below – they pass for nice dress pants if you have a longer blouse/sweater covering your bum, but 100% still feel like leggings!
