Hello all!
This past week was DC’s Summer Restaurant Week and I fully indulged in a variety of cuisines and a mix of tried-and-true restaurants and new locations. Below is a list of all the restaurants I’ve tried
I loved eating brunch at this delectable Georgian restaurant for Winter Restaurant Week in January and had to come back for dinner this round! The menu is a combination of traditional, classic dishes and original items.
Serving Dinner & Brunch – August 9-22 – There are $35 and $55 Dinner Options and a $22 Brunch menu for the weekends. You still have another week to take advantage of this deal!
A new-to-me restaurant that I’ve heard rave reviews about for a while – it certainly lived up to expectations! If you love Indian food, you’ll adore this upscale restaurant located in the heart of DC near metro center.
According to their website, “Punjab Grill welcomes its guests to experience the region’s legendary and unrivaled hospitality, offered generously to every visitor, and borne out of a love of bringing people together to enjoy time-honored traditions of refined diversion.”
One of my go-to Italian spots in Georgetown, Angolo DC has a relaxed vibe with “a menu celebrating the warm spirit of Italian cuisine, while honoring the purest seasonal ingredients.” I never have a bad meal there and was ecstatic to enjoy Restaurant Week in person on their beautiful tile patio.
While not on the official Restaurant Week brunch list, they are having RW dinners. I’d never been before but also heard rave reviews about the ambiance and food, so me and a few blogger friends all tried it out together!
The food was SO GOOD and the drinks were fabulous – we’ll definitely be back! Luckily, the brunch was also super affordable (I got a main dish and side for the usual RW price of $22) so I know it’s going to be a go-to brunch spot in the future for sure.
Another one of my favorite Georgetown haunts, this restaurant is a mix of Peruvian and Japanese cuisines. The two culinary traditions are always perfectly blended together for a delicious meal, and the $55 RW menu let me get to taste a variety of dishes AND included four courses with a drink (the delicious citrus Pisco Sour)!
Have you been to any of these restaurants before or want to try them out? I hope I’ve inspired you to fully embrace Restaurant Week with any restaurants expanding into this week or given you new locations to try out in the future!
XOXO
