My Favorite Coral Lipsticks for Summer

Hello all!

Summer officially starts next week, but the temperatures in DC have already been consistently in the 70s-80s, which means I’ve started breaking out my favorite warm weather lip color: coral!  This shade always brings a smile to my face and I find it such a versatile hue. I’m not a huge “bold lip” person and am very picky about my red lipsticks, but I’m always comfortable donning variations of the softer coral to brighten up my face and still make a statement. A fun lip is an instant mood booster, as I said in my previous post on my favorite Spring Lipstick Shades, and this summer edition still holds true!

Today I’ll be sharing a few of my current go-to shades along with a new discovery! I’ll rotate each of these options out depending on whether I want a subtler sheer look for day or a bolder lip at night.

Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Coral ($24) – This is my daily go-to for sheer but build-able color that’s also super hydrating! Bonus: this lip stick contains sunscreen of SPF 15 so it’s perfect for protecting your skin on sunny summer days.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Babe ($29) – I’m a big fan of the Bobbi Brown crushed line – this lip color is perfect for work as it’s on the more natural pink side of coral. It brightens up your face without feeling too bold.

Noto Botanics Multi-Bene Lip Stain in Ono Ono ($19) – This cruelty free, vegan lip stain made with all natural organic ingredients is super moisturizing. It leaves a lovely muted rust-coral shade on your lips that’s understated but still in the warm coral family.

Nars Satin Lipstick in Niagara ($28) – This pink-based coral is the newest addition to my collection and I’ve been very pleased with it so far! It’s definitely a brighter pink-coral and I love how it stands out as a great summer color! Honestly it pairs perfectly with a little summer glow.

I hope this inspires you to try out some new coral lip shades this summer and have fun with your look!

XOXO

Parisa
