My Favorite Summer Quotes

Hello all!

Now that’s it’s August and the hazy summer days are in full effect, I’m sharing my favorite quotes about summer.  Hopefully these quotes will conjure images of sunlight, grassy fields, beach side naps, and candlelit nights for you no matter where you are or what the weather is like at the moment.

“The summer night is like a perfection of thought.” – Wallace Stevens

“Summer was here again. Summer, summer, summer. I loved and hated summers. Summers had a logic all their own and they always brought something out in me. Because they made me want to believe.” – Benjamin Alire Sáenz, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

I hope you all are enjoying these lazy summer days!  I’m taking every opportunity I can to get outside and enjoy the warm weather.  These pictures were taken during the Water Lantern Festival I attended at National Harbor in Maryland – it was such a beautiful experience that I highly recommend going to if there’s one at a city or town near you! It was the perfect opportunity to get together with friends and have a relaxing night filled with warmth and good vibes.

And as always, let me know if you have any favorite quotes from this post or if there are any I didn’t include.  Happy August everyone!

xoxo
