This past Sunday a friend and I took a short trip to the Hillwood Estate, Museum, and Gardens just north of the heart of DC. It was once a mansion that belonged to Marjorie Merriweather Post, but is now a museum open to the public!

Since Hillwood is such a beautiful, colorful location, I had to dress the part! Adding to my usual all-black ensemble is this beautiful floral frock I recently picked up at Athropologie. They’re having an amazing sale right now that I recommend checking out ASAP!
